The Luxe Pad Story

It seems to me that the brick-and-mortar stores are meeting a need in the gift world these days that online ordering just can't fulfill – namely, the last minute gift. People don't like to arrive at a home or a party empty handed and they usually forget to plan their gift ahead of time. So, thank goodness... the store's the thing!

I am a fine stationer first and foremost, in business since 1998, and I had become weary of the candles and knick-knacks I was stocking for these types of gifts. When a friend asked for a simple but elegant initial pad and we couldn't find one anywhere, I was inspired to design my own. Thus, the Luxe Initial Pad was born, featuring a single block initial at the top. These pads became an instant hit in our Pacific Palisades shop.

It has been almost three years since we introduced our line at the New York Stationery Show. We won "Best New Product" at our first trade show and have hundreds of accounts across the nation, from Nantucket to Malibu, with many stores in between!  

The best part for the retailer is this: no time-consuming personalization, no order writing, no follow up, no shipping, no waiting. It's THERE on the shelf -- cash and carry!

After the success of the Luxe Initial Pad, we designed a collection of Expression Pads to round out the line and give our customers some fun options. We started with "blah, blah, blah" and "groceries" (still two of our most popular pads) and grew the line from there. All our fonts and ink colors are quirky and fun… nothing ordinary!

Last spring we added thick high-end lucite boxes to upgrade the pad to a very elegant desk top item. Our box and pad sets retail from $55.00 to $70.00, depending on the pad size. Perfect for men, women, friends, teachers , hostesses and colleagues, our large pads weigh almost 5 pounds and make a very substantial gift. And they're so easy to gift wrap! Luxe pads are the perfect gift solution for all occasions, and they really fly off the shelves.

Minimum Order Requirements

Our minimum opening order is 12 pads, 3 of each style or letter. Minimum re-order is 6 pads, 3 of each style or letter.

All orders are charged at the time of shipment. Payments are credit card only. We accept Visa, Mastercard, or American Express.

Shipping

Paid orders are generally shipped promptly within 4-5 business days, FOB California. Shipping costs are charged at the time of shipment and will be included on your final invoice.  Orders ship via Fed Ex ground. Please let us know if you’d like to use your FedEx or UPS account number.
