When it's time to celebrate a gentleman's birthday the options are few. Corny images of wine bottles and corkscrews just don't do it for me, and our customers love a more personal touch.

We designed this invite for a special family friend and it has become a Black Ink Classic. The reason? It's the MOST personal invite we do. We ask family, co workers and friends to send a list of words that describe the birthday honoree, and we are always delighted and amused by the original and creative responses we get. This part of the process gets everyone involved and excited before the invitation even hits the mailbox!

We can modify our "Block of Words" design to fit every occasion and any person, male or female! We've added motifs for dog lovers, flags for ex-pats, college logos for alumni... the sky's the limit! Not expensive to create, but worth its weight in gold!

For the Simon birthday party, our navy and white cabana striped envelope liner sparked the party planner's imagination, and drove the color scheme of the entire event. It was a magnificent occasion that stretched the expanse of the entire back yard of this gorgeous home. And I might add that the effect was so wonderful, it inspired me when the time came to plan my own daughter's wedding. And guess where that took place!
