The Story of Jen and Ed

jen-ed_kiss

Jen was possibly the most charming, demure, EASY bride who has ever graced our table! And she was having a 1960's "Mad Men" style wedding at the London Hotel in West Hollywood! The bride's "fear of color" mandated a wedding cast in various shades of platinums, greys, whites, and mercury glass.

Along with the invitation, which was set against their signature grey mosaic pattern, we designed matchbooks and cocktail napkins, bar signs and table numbers, all in the edgiest of fonts,  mostly on grey stock with white ink. We were so lucky to be a part of one of the most unique weddings we've seen. Gorgeous!

Kristin Banta, wedding planner extraordinaire, outdid herself setting the scene with bar trollys that were packed with decanters and retro elements that would be found in the coolest of cool dens in the 60's; Loungey-looking bar stools and high-backed banquettes; coffee table books stacked high and topped with bushels of white puffy hydrangeas.
